Salman is a creative professional, PR expert and community activist.
As a professional graphic designer and web developer with over a decades worth of experience, Salman Farsi established his own digital design agency in 2008. Salman has significant expertise collaborating with clients to generate and refine complex creative ideas, and his agency was commissioned by new business start-ups, think tanks, charities and government. He is a founding member of Film Pill, an award winning film production company with distinguished clients including The Guardian, Virgin Start Up and BBC.
Salman also serves as the chief communications officer for London’s oldest Mosque founded in 1910, the East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre, where he manages press and PR enquiries from around the world. He was recently featured in a BBC 2 hour-long documentary entitled Welcome to the Mosque, and was awarded a commendation from the Metropolitan Police for services to the community.
Community activism is one of Salman’s passions. He works alongside prominent organisations including the Muslim Council of Britain, Hacked Off, Citizens UK, Unite Against Fascism and others to empower the voice of minority groups and to ensure that the rights of the community are protected.
